TRUE ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE WITH NO UP FRONT COSTS

We are one of the only leading syndicate managers in the country who do not require up front costs for the purchase of your horse. This cost is included in your monthly payment. Diamond Racing therefore bears the risk of the capital outlay.

The monthly subscription covers all racehorse ownership expenses from the purchase cost of your horse, all training and entry fees, routine and unexpected veterinary Fees and blacksmith fees, to the trainer and stable lad's expenses and all horse transport costs, jockey fees... the list goes on! In other words Diamond Racing covers the cost for EVERYTHING (no hidden costs).

RACECOURSE OWNER'S BADGES

We arrange for all our owners to receive an owners badge for entrance to the racecourse whenever their horse is in action. When your horse is running you will enjoy full ownership privileges at the racecourse. This includes being able to watch your horse in the pre-parade ring, watch it be saddled, go in the parade ring and then the winners enclosure, if you win or are placed. During your access to the parade ring you will have the opportunity to meet and discuss the prospects with both the trainer and the jockey. The badge will allow you full access to the Owner's & Trainer's Bar/Restaurant and Owner's Viewing area in the Grandstand.

Attendance is always arranged in advance of race meetings, so all you have to do is turn up and your badge(s) will be waiting for you. Please also note that there is always a Diamond Racing representative on the course on race days.

BETTING POLICY

We make no apologies for being recognised as a shrewd betting syndicate. The Diamond Racing team has a phenomenal success record when the money is down!

By becoming an owner with us you have free access to the successful profitable Diamond Racing mainline message. This is a daily telephone information service. There are on average 3 recommended bets per week directed at owners interested in making their betting profitable. The information you receive is on a BT Standard rate.

It is highly unlikely that anyone will make money purely from owning a share in a racehorse. The low prize money ensures this can very rarely happen so you should treat the ownership side as fun. You can however make money from the betting side (see betting section).  

STABLE VISITS & RACING WEEKENDS

Stable open days where you can meet your horse and trainer are organised regularly. You can see your horse working at home and generally experience the other side of racing. Racing weekends are also arranged; this includes overnight accommodation, attending a race meeting and an evening meal with special guest speakers. (Racing weekends are subsidised by Diamond Racing, but a fee is charged to cover accommodation costs, etc).

2005 has already seen a racing weekend in Thirsk to celebrate 10 years of Diamond Racing, a stable visit to Peter Chapple-Hyam in Newmarket and a stable visit to John Gallagher's yard in Gloucester . In October we are organising a weekend to Longchamp (France) where a Diamond Racing horse will be running.

Owners have also had racing weekends in Malmo ( Sweden ), Longchamp (France), Rome , Craon (France) and Mijas ( Spain )

SELLING POLICY

Please note that the emphasis of our horse racing syndicates is that if we do have a good horse we keep him/her. You can be assured, unlike with other syndicates, that if you own a good horse, the horse will not be sold early for the financial gain of the syndicate managers.

When the syndicate term ends the best possible price is obtained via registered Tattersalls horse sales at either Newmarket or Doncaster .

As you actually own a share in a racehorse you get your percentage share of prize money and resale money with no deductions.

KEEPING YOU UP TO DATE

The people you will be dealing with at Diamond Racing are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and are as passionate about racing as you are. Our office support team will do their utmost to make sure your experience of racehorse ownership is as much fun as it can be. 

Each Diamond Racing horse has their own telephone information line. The Horse lines are updated regularly so you can be kept completely informed of the wellbeing and progress of your horse, from fitness and home performance to your trainer's views. You will also be kept fully informed via this service as to the intended future race plans for your horse.

In addition to this, if we have an email address for you we send regular update emails including photos of your horse (either on the at the course, up the gallops or relaxing at home) We also issue monthly newsletters and regularly update our website.

Our offices are open from 9 am until 5pm Monday to Friday and racing manager Christian Morgan is always available on mobile phone numbers outside these hours

"DROP OUT" CLAUSE

With our racing syndicates you will not be entering into what could be a lengthy and legally binding partnership, whereby you are jointly and severally liable for all monies owed to the trainer, vet and racing authorities.

Our arrangements free you of this burden, in that you'd be entering into a private agreement with Diamond Racing, who are solely responsible for all monies owed to the trainer and/or racing authorities. The agreement allows you to "walk away" without any financial liabilities whatsoever. Furthermore, unlike as would be the case with a 12 person joint partnership, if any of the other members "drop out" for whatever reason, you need not worry about being liable in any way for any further payments.

Your only commitment is that of the standard monthly fee. You can terminate your ownership with 30 days notice so you have no long term commitment if your circumstances change.
