Diamond Racing is a genuine syndicate, not a racing club with a successful history and a strong social base.

Owning a racehorse can be one of the most exciting pastimes, with its highs and lows it's certainly never dull! We can't guarantee you a winner at Cheltenham or Royal Ascot, but we can guarantee you'll have a great time; you'll meet like-minded people, forge friendships and share in the highs and lows of racehorse ownership!

At Diamond Racing we take all the hassle out of ownership, leaving you with the fun and excitement and full involvement for a realistic and fixed cost.

How does it work?

Diamond Racing provide 1% shares in carefully selected horses. The maximum amount of shares sold in each syndicate is 35. Diamond Racing retain 65% of each horse so therein lies our commitment.

A syndicate term runs for 3 years. The vast majority of the horses we purchase are as yearlings and we believe that generally they will reach their optimum potential at the age of 4 years. A 3 year term ensures that owners do not experience the frustration and disappointment of their horse being sold prior to their full potential being reached. We are still able, however to sell the horse (in the unlikely event of it not being good enough) before the 3 year term ends to ensure that owners are not spending their money fruitlessly. In these circumstances owners would be free to change their ownership to an alternative horse .

What does it cost?

£99.95 PER MONTH. Discounts apply to annual payments. Special offers occasionally available.

What does the monthly fee cover?

In short everything! Firstly this includes the purchase price of the horse - there is no upfront cost. The monthly subscription also covers all training and entry fees, routine and unexpected veterinary fees, blacksmith fees, transport costs, jockey fees - the list goes on!

We cover the cost of everything no hidden extras just a simple monthly payment.

What are the risks?

Every racing syndicate is covered by a written agreement which guarantees that there are no hidden charges and that the monthly charge cannot increase at anytime even if other syndicate members "drop out".

Diamond Racing are solely responsible for all monies owed (eg trainer, racing authorities etc) it is not a lengthy and legally binding contract whereby you are jointly and severally liable for all monies owed. Our arrangements free you of this burden and allow you to "walk away" without any financial liabilities whatsoever.

Your only commitment is that of the standard monthly fee. You can terminate your ownership with 30 days notice so you have no long term commitment if your circumstances change.

Payment details

Payment terms are by monthly standing order or cheque. Lump sum payments also accepted for the whole 12 months.

How to join

You can either

Choose your horse from 'our horses' section of the website and forward a cheque for £99.95 with your name and address to our offices. This will reserve your share. We will then forward the necessary paperwork for your information and completion including our DVD.

Complete the enquiry form on the website. We will then send you an application form and information pack together with our DVD.
